Der Kurs fördert die Auseinandersetzung der Teilnehmenden mit den gesellschaftlichen Wirkungen von transdisziplinärer Forschung. Die Teilnehmenden erhalten einen Überblick über theoretische Grundlagen und konkrete Methoden, die sie befähigen, die Wirkungen ihrer Forschung besser in den Blick zu nehmen und über den Projektverlauf hinweg systematisch anzusteuern.

From 24th of June until 26th of June 2024 the TRANSFER project and the Living Labs Incubator of RWTH Aachen University will host an international Conference and Training School on Knowledge Transfer in and through Living Labs. Take your chance and submit your proposal until 15th of March!
Around the conference, from 24–28 June 2024, they will also organise an international Training School on the same theme in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and ENoLL. Applications are possible until 15th of March.

From 16th July to 19th July 2024 the quadrennial joint meeting of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST) and the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) takes place in Amsterdam, hosted by Athena Institute, VU. The Call for Abstract is open until 12th February 2024.
International Summer School - Transdisciplinarity methods and tools for dealing with sustainability and land use conflicts

Transdisciplinary research and practice is an approach that allows to bring together different perspectives from science and society and to catalyse the solution of real-world problems. In the summer school we want to transmit the basics of co-producing knowledge, co-designing solutions, and co-evaluating the results of such research practices to Master and PhD students from technologically-oriented disciplines (e.g. engineering, planning, environmental studies) as well as from other fields (e.g. social sciences). To ensure the link to the ‘real-world’, we will apply what we learn to sustainability problems in the region of Alt Empordá, Spain. Take your chance and apply until 30th of April!

Die DeGEval lädt vom 18.-20 September zu ihrer 27. Jahrestagung nach Potsdam ein. Dieses Jahr soll es um die gemeinsamen Schnittmengen und Herausforderungen zwischen transdisziplinärer Forschung und Evaluation gehen. Erwünscht sind sowohl Beitragsvorschläge mit Bezug zum Tagungsthema als auch über freie Einreichungen. Noch bis zum 17. März können Proposal eingereicht werden!
